Hi, I’m Gina

I left my corporate career in tech to pursue a path in coaching and leadership development. Since then, I’ve built a thriving coaching practice, co-founded a leadership consultancy for women, and joined the faculty of the organization where it all started.

Credentials and experience

I’m a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF) which means that I have thousands of hours of coaching experience under my belt, have passed written and oral exams, and uphold industry-leading ethical standards.

I teach coaching and leadership skills as part of a global faculty at Co-Active Training Institute, one of the longest running and largest coaching organizations in the world.  All of this to say, I’ve studied (and now teach) all kinds of frameworks, skills, and research-backed best practices that improve efficiency, communication, collaboration, and well-being.  Perhaps, even more valuable, I’ve road-tested all of it in my own businesses and partnerships and offer candid findings from my journey to my clients.

More on that journey below…

As a co-founder at Inside Out Incubator my focus was on building a company that supported women working in male-dominated industries.  Over the course of five years, we built a profitable business that provided leadership programs for women to help them lead powerfully on their own terms. We partnered with over 25 organizations around the globe, including Slack, Google, Salesforce, Amazon, and many more.  We reached over 6,000 women, helping them lead and craft careers they love before sunsetting the project in 2022.

Before becoming a coach, I had a decade-long career in the tech industry.  My focus was on supporting people in executive leadership positions as an assistant at high-growth tech companies (primarily at Twitter, Inc).  My work revolved around both the practicalities and bigger questions that leaders grapple with daily:

“How can I be more efficient with my time?  How can we communicate better as a team?  Also, can you book me a red-eye to Dubai so I can close this deal and still make it home for my kid’s birthday because I’ve missed the last two?”

In working intimately with folks at the upper rungs of corporate ladders, I experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly that can be perpetuated there.

I believe that people who occupy these spaces have a responsibility to get it right - for themselves and for the organizations they lead. I pursued a path of coaching and leadership development to uncover what that looks like - what it means to create cultures of belonging, what it takes to bring more of our humanity to how we lead, and what gets created in businesses and organizations when that happens.

MORE ABOUT ME

I identify as a white, cis-gendered, heterosexual, American woman. I’m a wife, auntie, artist, feminist, classically trained vocalist and actor who LOVES 60’s soul music and 90’s hip hop. My pronouns are she/her. I was born and raised in San Francisco where I currently live with my husband and rescue pooch, Rigby. I’ve also lived in Ohio (for college) and NYC (to pursue my first career in the performing arts). I am privileged to have had access to coaching and personal development resources, including therapy, in my teens. Part of my work in the world is to make these modalities more accessible to marginalized communities - both as clients and as practitioners.
